VR Interaction

Description
The availability of modern virtual reality (VR) technology provides increasingly realistic ways for the average person to manipulate and view 3D Data in a fully immersive environment. For example, the addition of external cameras on modern headsets has enabled robust hand tracking allowing users to interact with virtual objects directly. Furthermore physical objects, such as a floor and walls and furniture, can be synchronized in 3D space with virtual counterparts. Finally, manipulation of virtual objects can be performed through the use of physical manipulatives (aka "tangibles" or "props"), where externally tracked physical objects serve as proxies for virtual objects and provides continuous tactile and proprioceptive feedback.
